Angela Morgan – RN, BSN- “Postpartum Hemorrhage”
Angela graduated from Belmont University and the University of New York with degrees in nursing.
Angela has spent her entire career in Women’s and Children’s Health. She started her career as a staff nurse in labor and delivery and quickly developed a love of caring for high risk obstetrical patients. Angela developed as a well-respected nurse and nurse leader. She fulfilled roles as Nurse Manager and Director of Perinatal Services at 3 different facilities in the Nashville area. She was instrumental in developing and opening a high risk OB unit, adding perinatology to the facility’s available services, and starting a maternal transport program. She has designed and opened 2 different perinatal units in brand new hospitals. As Director of Women’s and Children’s Services, both units were extremely successful and continued to grow under her leadership. For the last 15 years, she has also practiced as an expert witness on obstetrical cases for a large number of attorneys in the Southeast. Currently, Angela is a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Clinical Innovations. Education is her passion, and she loves to teach. Since she joined the company, she has developed a Clinical Nurse Specialist program to assist in educating customers to support the company’s mission of healthy moms and babies for life.

Mary Puchalski- DNP, APN, CNS, NNP-BC- “Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome”
Dr. Puchalski received her bachelor of science in nursing degree from University of Illinois Chicago, master of science degree in parent-child nursing from Northern Illinois University (DeKalb, IL), postmaster’s certificate as a neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP) from Rush University (Chicago, IL), and doctor of nursing practice degree from Chatham University (Pittsburgh, PA). She is certified as a neonatal intensive care nurse and neonatal nurse practitioner by the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing Specialties (NCC), is a regional trainer for the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Neonatal Resuscitation Program and a lead instructor for the S.T.A.B.L.E.® Program.
With more than 27 years of clinical experience, Dr. Puchalski has worked as a staff nurse in all areas of the maternal-child nursing specialty, including mother/baby, labor and delivery, neonatal intensive care, pediatrics and pediatric intensive care. She currently holds a clinical position as the director of the NNP program and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Nursing, as well as a neonatal nurse practitioner in Rush University Medical Center’s level IV NICU. She is the coauthor of the N-PASS: Neonatal Pain, Agitation and Sedation Scale, and has published articles as well as presents nationally on neonatal topics. The focus of her doctoral work was on evidence-based care for infants with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS).
Dr. Puchalski was the recipient of the 2014 Procter & Gamble Doctor of Nursing Practice Post Master’s Scholarship though the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), 2014 March of Dimes Graduate Nursing Scholarship, and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau (STTI), the International Honor Society of Nursing. She is also a member of numerous other professional nursing organizations.
Previously positions include: Lead of NNP Services at Rush University Medical Center, Perinatal Outreach Educator for Loyola University Chicago’s level III perinatal center, and neonatal-pediatric clinical nurse specialist. Professional activities have included memberships in the Illinois Department of Public Health Statewide NAS Committee, National Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NANNP) Quality Metrics Task Force, Perinatal Nursing Advisory Council for the Chicago Area March of Dimes, Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Consulting Group, and peer review panel for Advances in Neonatal Care, the official journal of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN). She is an expert in PowerPoint slide creation/design, and has taught it to nurses and medical professionals across the U.S. She is the PowerPoint slide designer for all of the modules published by the S.T.A.B.L.E.® Program of Park City, Utah, an internationally recognized neonatal education company.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in a variety of clinical settings including the NICU, Special Care Nursery, Normal Newborn Nursery and Developmental Follow-Up Services

Terry’s clinical interests include the immunobiology of human milk, strategies in the use of human milk in low birth-weight infants, handling and clinical use of human milk products in the NICU and evidence-based nutritional management of preterm infants.
Terry currently serves nationally and internationally as a consultant and educator to health care systems, professional practice organizations, perinatal advocacy groups, and health care industry partners on multiple clinical issues in perinatal and neonatal patient care.
